ONGC Board of Directors played Day & Night cricket match against IAS officers of Uttarakhand.

The star of ONGC team Virendra Sehwag played at our ground. He took 4 wickets in a rain abundant match. He liked the ground very much and will be back in ONGC team along with Gautam Gambhir in the Petroleum Sports Board Cricket Tournament proposed to be played at ACA.
 


The Cricket summer camp was successfully completed at ACA

46 boys attended the camp. The camp was headed Mr.Sarkar Talwar and other coaches who imparted training during the camp included Mr.Rajdeep Kalsi, Mr.Anup Das. Besides regular coaches, Mr.Paritosh Vaid and Mr.Ravindra Negi were among the other coaches. Our Director Mr. Roger Binni also imparted training on the last two days of the camp. His presence was the big boost to youngsters. He also shared his world cup experiences with the boys.

For the second year in a row, boys from our academy has produced best sub junior cricketer for the state of West Bengal. This year E. Abhimanyu has been declared best sub junior cricketer for the year 2007-08.

In the year 2006-07, it was Abhishek Rana who was declared the best sub junior cricketer of the year.
 


Infrastructure Development

New Gymnasium is coming up at ACA. It will be ready by the end of July. The Gymnasium has a state of art equipments from Cybex, Standard etc. The Gymnasium's flooring is rubberized and terracotta and black colour which adds lots of grace to the Gymnasium.

The Gymnasium has two LCD TVs along with a music system by BOSS.

The T.T. Room is also in progress and the wooden flooring is also being done which will be completed by the end of July.

A new dormitory has also been created which is having 16 Beds

A Billiard room and Conference Hall cum Library is also being created and will be completed by the end of August 2008.

The pitch is also being re grassed by our grounds men.
